Tip #23 - How to : Turn Off Notifications on Facebook

Admit it! You are tired of the notifications you constantly get on Facebook. These annoying notifications may come from groups, events, apps and games. Many facebook users tend to send messages from games and apps all the time. If you want to stop receiving these notifications here is how.
Follow these steps:

1. Log into your Facebook account.
2. Click on the globe on the top of your account.
3. Roll over the notifications you wish to delete and press X.
4. Facebook will also ask you if you want to turn off notifications from a certain user as well. If you wish to, just hit Turn Off.
